Add Case Details

How to edit

As a client, you have to fill out your case details by:

1. Open the case from your Dashboard by clicking its entry under Client Name.

2. The Case tab will open by default. Click Fill Detail.

3. The Fill Details pop-up will appear. The information at the top is filled out by the immigration company/professional you're working with and can't be edited by you.

4. There are 16 sections for you to fill out. Click the section headings to expand or collapse each section. Each section is discussed in the Case Details section of this article.

5. You'll encounter three types of input fields while filling out these sections:

    • Text fields don't have any icons beside them. To fill it out, click the field, then type.
    • Drop-down fields have a down arrow icon beside the field name. To fill it out, click the field, then select from the drop-down options.
    • Date fields have a calendar icon beside the field name. To fill it out, click the field, then select a date on the pop-up calendar.

6. Once you've filled out all fields, click Save.

When you have filled out all the details and uploaded all necessary documents, make sure to click Submit. Otherwise, your immigration professional won't be notified.

Case Details

The 16 sections that you need to fill out are as follows:

Additional Information contains other basic information: contact info, address, citizenship, date of birth, marital status, and, if applicable, spouse's status in terms of their citizenship or immigration to Canada.

Immigration History is where you should indicate any immigration history. It covers your previous immigration applications to Canada, rejected immigration application/s to any country, and any activity that was done against the law of any country. You can add more specific details in the Any further information? text field.

School Details should only be filled out if you're planning to study. The details of your preferred school/institution, program/course, location, start date, and maximum tuition budget in Canadian Dollars should be indicated here. If there's more than one, click the Add New button and fill out identical fields. An entry can be deleted at any time by clicking the trash icon associated with it.

Educational History covers any formal education that you have received. The Add New button will create a new line while the trash icon will delete the associated entry.

Language Exam is where you should put the results of any language exam you've taken. If you've taken more than one, click the Add New button. Results can be deleted at any time by clicking the trash icon.

Employment History should cover the jobs/ professional roles you've performed over the years. Click Add New to add a new job; click the trash icon to delete the job associated with it.

Passport Details is where you should add your passport details.

Dependents is where you should indicate if you have dependents and, if you have, how many.

Primary Parents Details is where you should add your parents' information.

Spouse Parents Details should only be filled out if you are married. If you are, add the information of your spouse's parents here.

Sibling Details should be added here if you have any. Click Add New to add more siblings; click the trash icon to delete the entry associated with it.

Application Declaration covers any questions pertaining to your legal affairs and physiological capacity. All questions are answerable by Yes or No.

Work in Canada should be filled out to reflect your work status in Canada.

Finances describe your financial capacity in terms of the amount of unencumbered transferable and available funds you have in Canadian Dollars.

Travel History shows the places/ countries you've visited throughout the years. If more than one, add a new entry by clicking the Add New button; click the trash icon to delete the entry associated with it.

Emergency Contact contains the details of the person who should be contacted in case of, or if you have, an emergency.
